I have to say that Jason Plato pass is pretty damn impressive I've seen passes like that in GoKarting but COT DAMN!! how did he bring the car on the inside after looking like he went wide with Ford, he couldn't have braked just a tad? I mean just doesn't make any sense I've watched the same section over 10 times and I just still cannot understand it, Just pure guts men. New level of respect for him definitely, here is hoping 5th gear comes back

It seemed to me that Plato was able to get on a gas quicker than Chilton did, since he took different line on that last corner. Chilton went into the corner trying to defend his best line with Plato coming right at him, and maybe he had to step on gas later than Plato because of understeer during the turn so he doesn't go out of the course just stepping on gas, making Plato carry more speed to overtake Chilton.... But that's what I think maybe others might have different thought on that stunning move by Plato.

Glad you enjoy the thread. The Plato move was great, series like the BTCC are great because even thou the cars are not really that fast they are almost identical and they have to pull stunts like plato did and makes for great viwer action, it is like the MX-5 Miata challenge, a huge pack of cars and doing amazing things and some nasty crashes also.

Well this is not a race finish... it is a begining but still a lot of great fottage from the 2009 Nordschleife 24hr.

Some Audi R8, Ford GT, Porsche Gt3 RSR, Lexus LF-A, Aston Martin Vantage V12, BMW M3 ... lots of great cars.

Shanghai 2007, the end of the race for Lewis at least. Kimi went on to win for Ferrari.

I love how he's commanding the marshalls like Michael would.
