Here we go again... It's not F1 without some sort of drama overshadowing the actual racing.

What I don't get is why "no moving aero" is such a damned hard rule to understand???

Dana, I read some of the 2010 F1 Sporting Regulations (probably ADD), can't find that bit about the diffuser... point me in the proper direction?

It's not actually as easy as it sounds. The downforce these wings and diffusers generate is pretty substantial. It's actually quite the feat to support anywhere 500+ lbs of force with a 1/4" thick piece of carbon fiber without any flexing. That, and the F1 teams know this, so why not try to exploit it?
