People can make fun of the cars all they want, but making fun of the driver's abilities or the level of competition is a mistake. If it was so easy, NASCAR (with huge earnings potential for even mediocre finishes) would be littered with successful converts from other racing series. I can count successful converts on one hand, but failed attempts in NASCAR are very common.
