Ferrari and McLaren both have really strong teams this year. I'd almost say Ferrari might have a better chance than McLaren but it really comes down to who can recover faster after last year. Red Bull is actually going to be a serious force to be reckoned with this year. They've got their team dynamics all sorted and Webber really found his groove last year driving alongside Vettel. I'd actually like to see Red Bull sweep the series this year for the WCC.
I think Mercedes GP will be the team to watch, especially with Schumey teaming up with Brawn again. Rosberg is a great 2nd driver and I think he'll make a lot of progress this year and hopefully win a GP or two.
BMW Sauber might be another dark horse on the grid this year with Kobayashi, but I think their biggest hurdle will be how good the car is.

Shumie is going after both titles, that can't be a bad thing, right? MBF1 is the team to watch, and dare I say set the pace this year.
what I would really like to see is a fight for every position, a really close race for top 4-5, then the next 5, and so on, there are enough cars on the grid and more than enough talent and skill in the line up of drivers and engineers.
anyone flying over here for the first race?

I would first of all like to say Welcome Back Barrister. It's a pleasure to see you starting these threads again. I hope luck goes your way and we have you around full time from here on out.
With that said I still love LH and Mclaren but I think MercedesGP could be the team to beat. I am actually pretty excited to see Ferrari, MM, MGP, RedBull all be big names this year making everything even more competitive. Hopefully anyway. After last season I am skeptical though...

I wanted to fly out for the first race but then I found myself employed which made getting the time off for the race a lot harder.
