New Race Track in SoCal?

One World-Class Track, Many Personalities

Creating a world-class road racing facility that is exciting, safe and easy on the environment requires highly skilled and experienced people. And when Malloy went looking for a great track designer, Alan Wilson stood out among people in the know. Wilson and his company, Wilson Motorsport, Inc., have designed some of the best new tracks in the U.S in recent years. Standouts include Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, Miller Motorsports Park in Utah and Las Vegas Speedway in Nevada. Indeed, more than 20 of his designs dot the North American landscape, with several more under development in the U.S. and around the world.

Nestled against the relaxing backdrop of Fairmont Butte, Wilson has created an intriguing 3.6-mile layout that can easily be divided into two separate tracks. It was designed to fit the natural landscape with minimal disturbance and is multi-configurable, adding more interest for racers and additional value for anyone that needs testing variety. Generous smooth runoff areas deliberately support safety for both cars and motorcycles....

I'll believe it when I see it. There have been so many false starts on racetracks in SoCal.

Looks like a nice layout but it's a shame that it looks so flat.
