It's the way in which it has been handled. Did Briatore deserve to get ousted? Yep. But the way in which it all went down, with Piquet blabbing his mouth and not getting penalized for doing something hugely wrong.

He has killed any chance of getting back into any top level racing. He has effectively lost all trust with a team principal/ sponsor/ other drivers etc.

Idiot.
