Hi Fellow Teamspeeders,

I have a friend Stevan McAleer at Driver Database | Motorsport who is an aspiring race car driver that's had great success through the various ranks(even victory over Lewis Hamilton is Karting) with the only thing limiting him being the exuberant costs of the sport...much like everything else in life in racing you gotta pay to play. The reason for this post is he's trying to enter a major competition http://www.db.com/grandprixshootout/ which can be his catapult to the upper echelon of the sport and even though theres a hefty entry fee theres also a way 3 drivers can be allowed to compete for free if they receive enough votes. There are 150 drivers competing for the 3 spots so I want to do my best to help out a friend who is so close to achieving a dream he's pursued his entire life. You can vote(ends September 30th) individually a maximum of 7 times at Stevan McAleer at Driver Database | Motorsport.
If you can find the time to vote it will be greatly appreciated, or if you can get friends to vote through facebook, myspace, etc. I would be hardstruck to find a word to express my gratitude. Once again this is in support for a friend looking to do positive & great things in his life so i'm doing my best to help him the same way I would help anyone who has come to me for help in something this ambitious and positive. Teamspeed is a great forum and I posted here because I feel you guys have enough love for the sport that you would at least give it a once over, and how insane would it be if we can help place a driver on the grid in F1 in years to come. I think Teamspeed is capable!
