Track car advice

Hey guys,

I've been thinking to start some serious tracking and since I am a beginner, I would like to purchase a cheap/buildable track-only toy. The car will not be driven outside of track. I think the only must have for it are manual transmission, rwd and n/a engine. I did not set a specific budget, but I am thinking of selling it for something better after gaining some experience, so I need your suggestions depending these facts.

What do you think?

Thanks,

Cheap, buildable, MT, RWD, N/A?
do you mean like a 1/4 car or a course track car? the only thing i can think of that fits all those requirements (cheap of course is subjective) is a supra.. but even then, its really only a 1/4 mile car.

your 997TT fits most of your requirements

why did I ask for too much? Sorry if I misspelled. Those are not requirements, but would be better if can have But I do not actually think an AWD, AT car should be cheaper :P

I meant a course track car. I would not want to risk my 997tt for this.

Get a Lotus Exige or a BMW E46 M3

both are cheaper than your AP Survivor and will definitely do the job!

Lotus Exige's are not common in here, I think there may be none!

E46 M3 is one of I thought, but its not cheap as over there (you can simpy double the price because of taxes). So, not worth it IMHO.

Everyone's always yapping about freaking M3s . . .

Get one of these. Learn it on a track and you'll be able to master just about any car out there:

This car would probably be anything but cheap to maintain if used as a track car in Turkey...
