Luca brings up a good point about keeping the rules the same long enough for the teams to find some sort of consistency. Changing the rules so drastically every season surely can't help the teams reduce their budgets any. I'm also still not sure why on earth KERS was introduced this season. It seemed to be a huge expense and a problem for many teams and has proved to be overall unsuccessful as the best teams in the series so far haven't even bothered to fit it to a car yet. If the rule changes had just been left with slick tires and no extraneous fins, I think we'd have a lot less drama and better racing this season. That's just my $0.02.
