It's on right now?

Eh... I'll come back to it later after I'm done running some errands.

These long races have a pacing problem for me since I'm so used to F1. Basically you just sit around and wait for other people to break down/crash, etc. and run as conservatively as you can to stretch out your fuel and preserve the car. Then go for all the marbles at the very end.

I don't think the phrase "going for the marbles" works for racing if you get what I mean.

I've been watching all day so far as well. Def. sad to see TK out of the race earlier.

Been watching racing all day (F1 in AM, Indy now). Bummer about TK, interested too to know what broke.

Penske has a very strong chance to win #15.

Yawn... Let me know when there are 10 laps left so I know when to turn on the TV.

You have to wonder: What's left, theoretically, that could resurrect the Indianapolis 500's drawing power?

The merger of what had been two competing Indy-style circuits, ending a split that had supposedly hampered the sport for years, came last year. Danica Patrick was supposed to bring star power if she could also be a contender on the track — and she finished third in Sunday's race.

But ABC's coverage drew just 3.9% of U.S. TV households. That's down 13% from last year, down 40% from coverage four years ago — and the lowest rating since the 500 got live start-to-finish TV coverage in 1986.

And if the recession kept some viewers off the roads this Memorial Day weekend, it didn't mean they wanted to watch cars on TV.

Seems nobody watched this race

My problem with the Indy 500 is that because they are all the same car, combined with the fact that its a big circle, the race isn't visually stimulating to me.
