How did it go, J-man?? Did you win? If you didn't, recruit me for the next race.

How's it going? I'm sure he's either busy or preparing to be very busy.

After a grueling 24hrs I am back now at the hotel recuperating. It was a hard race with few added dramas 4hrs from the finish. the first one was a broken gearbox and the clutch and a front brake caliper oil leak.
The team was a mix of an Arab (me), a japanese, a german, and a swiss. It was a team that worked well together. We didn't have as much stressed atmosphere as the others.
I had the pleasure to do the start which is in some cases can be nerve racking for others. I'm quite used to it and we completed the first lap ahead of most of the cars that started in front of me. I continued to drive an hour and a half stint before giving it to the next driver. This continued for every hour until the end of the race.
We eventually finished with all the dramas 6th in class and 107th overall. The only proud moment in all of this is that we reached the end with the car still in one piece.

great job!
Glad that you were able to finish the race.
they might be very thankful to having had you in their team!
What a pity that the material did not hold up...but well,it`s the toughest endurance race out there so it`s no suprise that an incident occured.
Anyway, hope you had some fun and am looking forward to seeing you in the M3 soon and kicking some ass

Thank you sir for your kind words as you have said it was a shame that the car didnt hold up to the task but it is understandable these cars did many events before the 24hrs and most of the cars have been rebuilt and not new. I drove like I should from the start taking care of the car as well as pushing hard for a podium finish but as you said it is and will always be the toughest endurance race ever. I am looking forward to be able to drive better equiptment in the future but this drive came very late and it was only logical to say yes and be part of this great event

Mabrook Bro!!! 6th in class and 107th over all is great...
Unless 6 cars in your class and 107 cars were the only finishers in the 24hr race

inshallah you will have a safe trip back and give us all the details with a few piX

Congratulations on at least finishing this grueling race! Hope to see you back home soon. Missed you yesterday while we were watching the F1.
