Looks like a missed some pretty intense qualifying! I was actually up in time to watch the first two stints but it slipped my mind. Oh well.

Looks like I should seriously consider dropping Hamilton for Vettel soon. Kimi may be a lost cause as well. Should be an exciting race tomorrow though!

 

If you have the reserve budget that would let you swap Lewis for Vettel straight up, then it could be a very good move. But do notice that Lewis was the heaviest out of all qualifyers. He may be looking to run a 1 or 2 stop strategy while the entire top 10 - besides Massa - looks destined for a 3 stopper. Lewis may still do well - or at least better than we expect.

Kimi must have had some mechanical issues. I am waiting on news as to why his Q1 performance was not only poor but short - only 5 laps. I would not count him out. Look at the disparity in performance between Kimi and Massa. I have to believe that Kimi's problems were mechanical and not a weak car.

Values are not changing at all today. That indicates that people are taking a wait-and-see attitude. I am going to do the same. I will only drop Lewis if he gets taken out in the first turn or has mechanical failure.

I predict that Massa podiums and possibly wins the race. His qualifying position mixed with his heavy fuel load puts him right up there with Vettel for the potential win.
