Awesome video, Dana! I can't watch it with sound in the computer lab on campus but I'm looking forward to hearing those sweet engines roaring through the hairpin later tonight. I watched most of the race yesterday and was really bummed that the Highcroft Patron Acura LMP1 car got penalized which cost them the win. Oh well, that's racing for you...

The GT2 Corvette that was engulfed in flames at the end of the race was without a doubt the most memorable part of the race for me though.

I don't suppose you have any photos from the pits or anything?

We were in the paddock before the race but they wouldn't let us stay during the race. I have over 1500 pictures and my son had 2000. We are sorting through them now.

Haha good luck with that. Normally it takes me 3 full days to sort through that many pics and narrow it down to a couple hundred keepers. Must be even harder for the two of you since I'm sure nearly 100% of them are awesome! I'm really looking forward to seeing them though!

At least you understand the type of effort photographing that type of event is. It is a monumental effort just to put 25 photos in a thread here. But I love you guys so I don't mind.
