I'm ready to do my part to save Formula 1

Hey guys, it's no surprised that F1 teams are cutting costs all over the place in order to keep from going belly up. I love Formula 1 and would hate to see any more teams drop out siting money problems as the reason. So I devised a little plan to help one of the teams out:

I'm graduating in May (just in time for Monaco) with my Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering from Minnesota State University. I am willing to offer my skills and services to the first Formula 1 team that contacts me, free of charge for the first year. All I ask for in return is to experience what it is like to work for a Formula 1 team and a small spot in the corner of the lab where I can curl up with a pillow and blanket at the end of the day to rest. I'm willing to travel. I'm willing to work hard and put forth my best effort. I'm willing to do whatever is required of me to earn my keep on the team.

If anybody affiliated with any Formula 1 team is reading this, act now! I want to work for YOU!

Seriously folks, if anyone knows how to get in touch with a Formula 1 team, I'd love the opportunity to work for one. Please PM me and I would be happy to send out my contact information and resume immediately!

Good luck I have semi good relations with the president of the Economic Development Board who is on the board of Mumtalakat which owns 40% of McLaren I'll see if I can put in a good word but don't hold your breath my connections aren't that great. I applaud your spirt to work as an apprentice/intern behind the scenes of any F1 team is grueling work to say the least but if you do end up working there the experience will be invaluable no matter what line of work you end up working in

Be prepared to bust your ass. The circus that is F1 is huuuuuge. Watching them pack up after a race is tiring. I have sat in the gold stands across from the pits in Montreal with my buddies and watched the mechanics and other team members go non-stop for 4-5 hours clearing the pits of any and everything F1.

I hope you get a shot at it. Good luck.

wow good luck man! People DREAM of just being able to attend a GP, much less Working for an actual team.

Hopefully, everything works out for you in the long run.
