David Hobbs that's it I cannot believe I forgot his name, thanks Dana. That was hilarious oh my god I was laughing for sooo long.

Now I know that I have a LH bias I will never say otherwise but the thing is that a rule is a rule. Now it's a stupid rule and needs to be amended or gotten rid of all together. It's almost a F1 tradition that team orders goes on. They said in the broadcast that in the 50's drivers gave up their cars to the lead driver and it was expected. That to me is just awesome and should be able to be left in F1, one of the many things that sets it apart. BUT here's the part that pisses me off. There is a rule, again it's a stupid rule, but a rule none the less and FERRARI broke it. Pretty blatantly to David Hobbs and myself and everyone else AND there is no penalty. Now my only point is go figure it's FERRARI saving their season with the move and it is going to go unnoticed. I would love to see STR or BMW do this and get away with it. NEVER HAPPEN. God I hate Ferrari, they are like ManU everyone who all the sudden likes soccer(futbol) is an automatic ManU fan...Maybe it's something to do with the color red?

Can't remember anywhere Dana has posted that Lewis doesn't make any mistakes. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I have to say, we need to drop the team orders thing, every team does it. They discuss every possible scenario during their strategy meetings.

Kimi's move on Sunday can only be seen as the action of the driver and not the team since the sharp stewards didn't hear the orders given over the radio.

+1 we should do this for every race it really makes F1 much more enjoyable to have a discussion with fellow gearheads even though we seldom agree

OMG! I am not saying that Massa should have been penalized. But I am saying that BOURDAIS SURE AS HELL SHOULD NOT HAVE!

Hitting Bourdais with the penalty gave Massa the extra point he needed to make it interesting in Brazil. Otherwise, he would be 8 points behind and woud basically have to win the race and have Lewis not finish in the points. Add that to the points they gifted him at SPA and that's why we still have a WDC race going on.

you missunderstood me, what I meant was Lewis has had bad moves that go unpunnished such as the move Massa did on Bourdais. The problem imo is that the stewards are different in every race thus there is a huge disparity in the penalties being handed out if they are handed out at all.

okay I get it and I absolutely agree Bourdais shouldn't have been penalised how they came up with is beyond any logic

You see. We can agree!

And for the record - Lewis makes incredibly boneheaded mistakes and far too often! The reason he isn't already a WDC is because he let Alonso take him out of his game in Brazil last year. And what about the "beaching" incident in China. Or the decision to stay on intermediate tires during Q2 at Monza.

Oh, and there are many more.

He isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination. Sometimes, he frustrates the CRAP out of me.

But I still love him.

+1. My biggest complaint with F1 right now is that the stewards are different at every race. The FIA has so much money and power, I don't see why they can't hire full-time stewards to go to every race with the rest of the teams. Or, at the very least, force the teams themselves to each employ their own steward. If there was a steward specifically for each team/driver, they could all converse together and make educated decisions by a majority vote.
