What Is Missing From Formula 1???

I came across this great article on pitpass.com. It discusses what might be missing from F1. Unlike the past, F1 is now part of the entertainment business rather than the mechanical engineering business. Is it lacking an anti-hero like Michael Schumacher? This article discusses it at length and makes some great points.

Great post Barrister. Very good points were brought up, and the consensus seems to be that the lost entertainment factor is irrepairable.

If someone were to ask me how to improve f1, I would have no clue what to say. I still watch in hopes of viewing a battle of top drivers and cars, but it almost always ends up slow paced and BORING. Sad to say.

If you ask me, many race series are more entertaining to watch than f1. f1 is only for the truly loyal these days, and even then...

Rep points coming your way!!!lol

IMO F1 has always been the most extreme (unless you count dragracing). Get rid of all the rules and regulations and let the craziest man win, then it´ll be fun to watch again.

What's missing? Look at MotoGP, and you'll know. It's everything F1 was and/or should be.
