Hi,

Is it a very mild fish eye?

Cheers,
Nik

If you want shots like this you might want an ultra wide angle lens. A 10-22mm should do the job.
Edit: ^^Yeah, it resembles fisheye but if you want more versatility i'd opt for a wide angle lens and not a specialty fisheye lens.

I am a newb to photography I have a D600 Canon in the twin lense kit and an 28mm sigma f2.8 and hoya polarising filter

what lense would you reccomend for these shots?

Also another topic I took these pics with the 28mm and polarising filter why are they almost pastel in colour and light I played with the shutter speed but to fast was to dark to where it was light enough the true colours werent shown of the cars.

Thanks in advance

PS you must spread some rep before giving it to the protest again lol

The shots you just posted are that color from the white balance. It was probably set for something that wasn't natural light.

To get that distorted effect you just need a wider lens. For the mild fisheye effect (without going to the full on circular fisheye) go with a wide zoom. starting near 10mm usually gets you there.

Linear fisheye compared to Straight wide-angle

Circular Fisheye

The only other thing to keep in mind, is this. Usually the on-brand (in your case Canon) lenses are typically going to have less distortion and therefore less fisheye effect. (unless advertised as a fisheye lens)

No amount of camera work would make those models attractive. YIKES!
