A few shots from our past two track meets (running)
Howdy,
Not sure how much interest these will have here, but I figured I'd post them up.
I took them at the WPIAL qualifiers & team championship meets instead of running (injury killed my season).
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I wasn't working with the gear I'd have liked for both days, but I'm very happy with the results. I've added a few below; sorry about the number of them.

Nikon D200 w/ a VR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6. Great lens for photographing landscapes and architecture, etc. (I absolutely love it), but it's AF is pathetically slow but there are workarounds (switching to MF, but then there's tradeoffs with that). Oh well; it's the photographer and not the gear that makes a shot.

First set: girls won, guys, well we lost to the people who ended up taking the WPIAL team title.
Second set: girls clenched the team title.
Truth be told, I don't know. They sort of scare me. (kidding)
If you saw some of the other teams, you'd think 2/3 of us were gay (especially if you went to a cross country practice). But we're not.
