959 vs CGT


A little story behind this 959 in particular. It was the very last one ever built after Porsche realized that they had enough spare parts to build one more after the last red one came off the assembly originally marked as the "final" edition to come off the assembly line. It was purchased by a certain owner and stored for more than 20 years before its current owner bought it and it had it fully restored which took months mainly because many of the parts had to be fabricated from scratch because Porsche no longer kept many of the parts on hand. And then let's not even talk about how nasty the car was when it was first brought out with cosmoline, film protectant, etc..took a lot of tender loving care by the detail shop to get it back to tip top condition. And then of course we have the Carrera GT which is a legend in its own right.
