I went to the 30th annual Wheels & Wings show in Osceola, WI yesterday with my dad. It was raining the night before but you couldn't have asked for better weather on a Saturday morning. There was a good turnout this year but a bit smaller than the last couple years. I think part of the problem is that the organizers had talked about moving the venue but never did. I hope it stays here for a while to come because it's a great spot that offers lots of parking for both spectators and participants.

That's it for now. I tried to share a good cross-section of the interesting stuff. There were so many cars, it was hard to see them all but hopefully this gives a flavor of what this event is all about. I think I'll try to go to the air show next year. I was short on time this weekend.

 

Wow...talk about a wide range of vehicles. Great shots as always Alex but damn, only ONE shot of the planes?

 

The air field was a few miles down the road and I only brought my 28-75mm and the 50mm so it was hard to get any decent shots of them. They only flew over in formation that once.

As I said, we drove by the air strip and it looked like a cool deal so I'll definitely check it out next year.

Haha yea I should have removed that from my posT! On my phone the picture from the rear had some potential, and at the time didn't realize that the other shot was the front of the same car. Now on my laptop I can see the fail for myself.
