Hi guys,
I have created this render in 3D. Love the design they made for the movie (gone in 60 seconds) of this car. You can check out larger renders from the links below. I plan to experiment with colours and design in my free time over the next few weeks.

Yeah, I chose this one first because it's a little uncommon in 3D, and maybe a little more challenging. But I do have planed next up to be a modern super car, undecided what one yet. That's how I found this site actually is looking for ideas.

I made this render using Maya, and rendered with Mental Ray. 3D Studio Max is equally as good, both made by Autodesk. They both have free Personal Learning Editions available at the Autodesk site.
I also attached some make of pics. Simply I started with a cube and just kept adding edges and faces, until I could cut off the body panels. Kept refining the model until it was detailed enough to smooth.
Project took about 120hours to make, but I started from nothing.
