I made the jump into the DSLR world and picked up a 20D for a steal of a price! I know your lenses wont work with my body, but it would be nice to see what size I should be looking for etc.) Last edited by Craigger; Sep 1, 2009 at 01:28 AM.

What lens (or lens') did you use during the event? one specifically for exterior vs. interior?

I also used my 50mm f/1.4 for a handful of shots. Those 3 lenses are my default "car show" lenses.

First off, congrats on your first DSLR purchase! The 20D is a little long in the tooth (then again, so is my D200) but it's a solid camera for sure.

The 20D also looked better on paper than a new Rebel etc. because of the 5fps which appeals to me because I will be shooting friends wake/skateboarding as well.
