Was hoping this thread was regarding something like the Mark IV.

Regardless, that series of camera are golden. Very much worth the money.

 

Expensive! At that price you can get a Canon DSLR (I just got an EOS 500D)

Why don’t you just deliver the G11 and pick up the 5Dii?

 

Significantly fewer MP and a smaller LCD screen than the G10?

I think people don't give this camera enough credit.

I am pretty sure there is a photographer on the ALMS circuit whose name escapes me at the moment but he uses a G10 as one of his main cameras.

Small, highly portable and less of a PITA to haul around than say a bulk Mark III + telephoto lens.

Pretty good little camera for what it is.
