Thanks to all of your help, I now got the hardware covered.

I also have a Canon HF11 camcorder, and as of right now, I got tons of HD footage and digital pictures that I really need to do something about.

I know a little bit about Photoshop, so I will be getting that.

But what is a good video editing software that can let me say, kill the background noise, retouch the frame, etc? The included software are just not able to do things like this.

Is Adobe Premier still the video editing software to get?

 

Take it your using Windows?

If so then yeah. Premier. Just make sure you read the manual to get the best out of it.

 

I've been very pleasantly surprised by Sony Vegas. Very intuitive, unlike Premiere.

 

Premier is top notch, however, has a bit of a learning curve. Buy a manual, or read the book that comes with it. It has tons of features, just not exactly all right in front of you.
