The story is simple really…
20 hours into our honeymoon all hell broke loose, we woke up to the walls shaking and huge water surges/waves. The tsunami destroyed the resort we were staying in and almost every resort on the eastern islands of the Maldives.
We were lucky very lucky to make it alive

I PROTEST!!!! You cannot win a winter holiday photo contest with a picture of people surfing. It shouldn't even be eligable. It doesn't meet the subject matter.
Also, that wasn't even close to the best picture I submitted. Who did the initial judging?? Where's the accountabilty??
I would like my objection noted.
