that pic does an awesome job of capturing the best part about night skiing, the ambiance.

Was the run you were on not lit well or did you do something to darken it? Seems like if I used 4-5 second exposure the snow that is close to you would look like the sun if there was any light around.

It was absolutely crystal clear that night. Very cold and amazingly "clear" that night

FYI, that area was really dark so that's why it's not as bright as the sun with an exposure that long.

I did very little post-processing other than cropping the image mostly. I wanted to tweak it so that it best shows the "overall feel/look" I saw that night.

Just went out and took a few night shots. My first real attempt. I will practice more often when it gets warmer.
