Where to get cheap Polaroid film?

I finally got a Polaroid instant camera, always wanted one. But film is so expensive, just wondered if any of you photo gurus knew where I can score some for cheap.

TIA!

Yeah I heard about that. I'm sure some company will begin to produce film that's compatible with polaroid cameras. There's enough demand.

Havn't found anywhere that sells cheap Polaroid.

It is such a fantastic medium.

Do you know if the film is patented? Might be worth looking into making it myself if it's just some standard photo paper that can be bought and cut.

Not quite that simple, brother... there are chemicals in the pouch at the end of the picture that are spread over the paper by rollers in the camera when it is ejected that develop the print. Good luck with your search.

I've had the best luck with ebay and polapremium.com. Fuji film still makes compatible products, but I don't remember the product numbers. I'll look it up in just a little while.

What kind of camera did you pick up? I have an SX70 and I love it!

Decided to cancel my order for the Polaroid 1200 and ended up getting a Fujifilm Instax 200.
