Flanders as in Flanders Field? WWI battle ground?

Poppies symbolize remembrance for the dead in WWI. Poppies grew up all over the battleground.

Here are my entries. I didn't see in the rules that we had to restrict it to just one photo.

I took these shots this Christmas. We were visiting my parents in Northern Utah. All were taken on my parents estate.

My daughters in the snow. We don't get much of that in the OC! I think they may be stuck to the flagpole!

Just some shots of Utah at Christmas time.

And some pictures of my parent's house at the foot of Baldy Mountain.

And just some random festive shots of the kids, etc...

Here is my 84-year old Dad playing Santa for the kids. He has been doing this since long before I was born - over 50 years!!

Like I said, we don't get snow much in the OC. This is my daughter's first snow angel!!

My Old Man digging us out!

My whole family - except me of course! I am snapping the photo.

My Mom - because she is just the best . . . Period!

There always has to be at least one "pissed-off kid" picture eh!

Thanks for looking. These shots mean a lot to me.

Probably not a winner, but a snow pic nevertheless.

Since Dana and a few others posted multiple holiday pics, I figured I should do the same.

All of these pics were taken around my home:

Nice Alex! That first shot is really neat. It is almost ambiguous - at first, it looks like a desert scene. You get drawn into it and then you realize that it is snow! Awesome job.

This was taken (unfortunately with a point and shoot) twenty hours into my Maldives honeymoon and a couple of days after Christmas… oh yeah and the tsunami.
Just my two pretty pennies...
