what noise? lol

really an incredible camera, but i find the video function pointless. its cool and all but i doubt a true photographer will ever use it. does it even have a mic? I dont know i just think if a person who buys this type of camera would want to make a video, they would buy an excellent video camera. or a point and shot with video function that does just as good of a job, if not better, with sound. thats just me.

by the way, nikon > canon... haha

I see myself as a "true" photographer whatever that means and I will most definately use it, and nope, I wouldn't buy a video camera to lug around.

I have a video camera. A compact HD thing. I brought it twice, and never again. You just can't do both at the same time.
However, if I have one camera and can switch from still to video, I would most certainly use it.

Made with 5D mk2, make sure you actually go to youtube and watch it in high res

YouTube - Vincent Laforet - Reverie

I actually find video feature pretty awesome, it is just something different to experiment with. There are so many lenses available to try, and making a video is just something even more challenging and rewarding in the end imo.
