Pshop tutorials?

Pshop tutorials?
I finally took the plunge on pshop. I didn't get the latest, but rather CS3 Extended. I've got a resource to get the Creative Suite Master Collection, but I'm clueless on PS as it is; so that'll be another day.
That said, does anyone have any recommendations on a PS tutorial that'll get a newb PS user up and running in relatively short order?

There's no realy global tutorial IMO. There are so many things you can do it's hard to have a do-it-ll approach.
I used to check out Good-Tutorials / Photoshop Tutorials + Flash Tutorials and replicate what I liked ...
