Pretty sweet, how crazy strict was the government about your media credentials?
I was offered to shoot for the "Obama Campaign" a couple weeks ago but was shooting another event at the time already.

As such, I was severely restricted as to where I could go and shoot from (for instance, I was not permitted to go onto the field as that was only for those with VIP tickets), and I wasn't allowed into some of the roped-off press areas that would have elevated me above the crowd with a great angle to boot.
With that said, if you get the opportunity to shoot a political event, and are able to make it work, don't hesitate in the slightest. They're truly great events.
