Now that the new unsold ones are being sold at 10K under sticker, what is the realistic prices to offer when buying a used 2007 with say, 10K miles?

I found one that I like but I am not sure what kind of prices to offer. Manheim seems to suggest that 50K is what they go for at auction?

 

black book online avg book whsl is 52.4K, retail avg is 58.5K. keep in mind raw manheim data does not include buyer's fees, transport costs and recon, so BB #'s are more true to life. If I were looking to buy for myself, for an 07 w/10K in the color I wanted, clean, documented history, no accidents, etc, I'd be willing to go mid 50's for sure. most important thing with the RS4 is ensuring proper break in was performed. if it's not my 1st choice in color, or cannot verify break in, etc, I would adjust accordingly, or find another car.

 

$55K is about right for the spec you mentioned (very close to mine - 13K mi, 2007). The gas thing has really hammered the RS4, AMGs, etc. Before gas broke $4/gal, I was appraised at $65K (to trade in on a 997TT). Now it's $10K less. I guess I'll just have to live with it...
