The wait is over! Say hello to the PPI Razor GTR Spyder Audi R8 by Speed Design. This R8 started as a base car, a 2014 Audi R8 V10 Spyder, with minimal miles on the odometer before going under the knife. PPI Speed Design Gmbh is designed in California and developed in Germany. The name “PPI” or “PPI Razor” might sound familiar to you because in 2012 we partnered up with Jon Olsson and PPI/Speed Design on their snow-driven PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR. Only Audi R8 V10 to have completely carbon fiber body panels, widebody enhancement wider than a Bugatti Veyron and a ski box on top!

The exterior of the Razor has a few eye-catching aesthetics including door cutouts, wind tested carbon fiber aerodynamics, and a bicycle mount. Yes a bicycle mount! The carbon widebody was dressed with a satin black chrome finish wrap which allows the carbon fiber details including the canards to really pop. Almost like a pearlescent paint job, the wrap also has a reflective 3M vinyl on certain edges that glow gold when hit with direct light. Shareef Khan, a master wrap artist, from SSCustoms was the one who visioned what this Audi R8 deserved to dressed with. He hit it out of the ballpark on this one.

The 3-piece forged wheels on the Razor started from just a vision that Alfred Abraham from PPI Speed Design Gmbh envisioned for this supercar. In collaboration with PPI, the wheels are spec’d out as the MAG9.2 Track Spec with hidden hardware. The front wheels are 19×9″ and rear are 20×12″ wrapped in Michelin tires.

What better way to add more luxury to an already wide body exotic supercar? Add a placement so you can take your bike anywhere you go. SSCustoms and eGarage teamed up with Livery Design Gruppe to build a 15.8 lb carbon matching track bike.
