2014 Audi R8 GT Spotted At The Ring
The face-lifted top of the line R8 makes its presence known.

Our teamspeed spies have just caught Quattro GmbH engineers testing what looks to be the all-new Audi R8 GT, or possibly even a R8 GT Plus judging by this massive wing affixed to the rear of the car.

Looking a bit closer at the prototype we spot a new chin spoiler for added downforce, front quarter panel winglets, (like we see on the current R8 GT) larger brake calipers, and what look to be carbon ceramic cross-drilled brake rotors.

The current R8 GT cranks out 560hp from its 5.2L V10, we say look for this new model to push the mark closer to 575-600hp. It will sure be nice to pilot the new GT with the lightning quick DCT box added to the new R8 line-up, as thankfully Audi has scrapped it's lack-luster R-tronic transmission.

Nice but i believe that the rear wing it looks like a ''cheap aftermarket'' product. Audi has to think again the rear wing design.

 

Audi needs to get back to the drawing board! 9 years of basically the same R8... come on now! We all want a new body design!

Agree it would be nice to see a more aggressive styling on the new GT. As for the wing, prefer the more smaller one that was present on the earlier GT

 

It's 7 years...nevertheless your point is absolutely right...R8 is turning boring!

 

If they offered a stick', this car would be a possibility.
