S6 or RS5?

^^ love this
As for the topic...
To be honest I was in your shoes 3 months ago, (minus the other beauties you have at home
) basically I was looking for a daily driver that could “carry its own weight” and put a smile on my face at the same time
. I was invited to take out the RS5 on the track and put it through its paces. It was fun but it felt numb, so it didn't really give me the feeling a c63 or m3 would, but it was an Audi so I felt very comfortable in it
.
Then I stepped into an S7, which mind you isn't much different from the S6 you wanted and loved it!
Nothing that will break the bank
, but still it’s got its stylish looks, (diamond stitching, great leather, fun gadgets inside, seats that you could actually sit in “in the back”
– mind you it’s no 7 series BMW or A8.)
The power is decent enough and the twin turbos deliver it quite well. The AWD is useful and seamless compared to other cars, as it feels light. The double clutch with keep you fidgeting with the shift paddles all day in dynamic manual mode.
It’s "drive settings" are great too I believe you have a choice of (efficient = v4, comfort = Merc S500, auto = well auto, dynamic = v8 twin turbo beast, or individual) the individual setting is pretty cool since you can create a custom set up from (engine noise, to seat belt tension, to gear timings, I forget what the others are.
)
If you're looking to spend the same amount of money on both cars, I say go for the S6 and get yourself some nice comfy options in there. B&O sound system, premium leather, a cool special color. Hope this helps more than confuses you!
and have fun!

I have driven both as well, and I'm certain the S6's 420 hp is way underrated. It's very, very fast, and very comfortable. In my case, I was almost "stuck" with the S6 since it's for the family. Originally I'd have said RS5 all the way, but now I'd say S6. So sneaky fast....

haha, I have both. And just sold both to get back into another R8.
The RS5 is a great car - but 80k, doesn't justify the steep price for it. The S6 or S7 as the DD..That linear Turbo power is amazing. APR Flash it like I did..and you'll have close to 580.

drive one, you'll know exactly what I mean... doesn't really deserve an RS badge.
I'm glad Audi have noticed this and have started making bloody quick S models with hopefully even quicker ones in their RS form... (I mean the turbo engines of course...)

I have, that's why I ordered one... It's not all about "Bloody Quick", 0-60 times, but whatever floats your boat I guess...
