Speedware Motorsports MTM chraged B6 S4 Avant

Speedware Motorsports is proud to announce that it has successfully installed the first MTM supercharger kit in North America.

Most of us know the term “sleeper" as an un-suspecting looking ride that might have a different sound at a stop light, but leaves you and your pride far behind when the light goes green.

Case in point... Richard Tait's '04 B6 Audi S4 Avant.

Created by the speed seeking minds at Speedware Motorsports in Redmond WA. , Project Manager Dan Reiss and Fabricator / Engineer Jamie Clendenen, utilized a new to the market MTM Compressor to push the H.P. in excess of 450.

Being the first American built S-4 Compressor, many of the "kit” components needed to be adjusted, from fuel delivery and management, wiring into the ECU for continued run time on the cool down water pump for the intrical after cooler, to placement of the additional cooling radiator. Program mapping and timing curves were adjusted and the end result is a very impressive pull from a rolling 20mph to well over 140mph in two gear shifts, leaving two more gears to be explored.

In addition to the latest visit to Speedware, the S-4 had been the brain child for such upgrades as KW Variant-III Coilovers, RS4 19in DTM Wheels with Kumo tires, Miltek Complete Exhaust, Brembo Front and Rear Brakes, Speedware Fabricated Emergency Brake with stand alone caliper, Hotchkiss sway bars, Tuned Weight Balance and Alignment specifically suited for the driving style of the owner.

There's no doubt that when all is said and done, Speedware Motorsports owner Shaun Duncan has to be proud of his whole team in creating what is bound to be one amazing "sleeper" with ride control and mind bending speed of a Hi-Bred Sports Car.

As the Pacific Northwest’s Premier Audi and Volkswagen tuning, performance and modification shop, Speedware Motorsports utilizes opportunities such as this to showcase it’s abilities to serve the global auto sport community. Trusted for over 10 years, Speedware Motorsports is the largest Motorsports facility on the West Coast with dedicated shop space totaling over 35,000sq ft, our state-of-the art equipment and expertly trained and experienced technicians make Speedware Motorsports the only choice for the discriminating auto owner.
Speedware Motorsports welcomes all projects from oil changes, to full restorations, and CAD designed complete competition vehicles. All of which are currently in process now and soon in the newly added 25, 000sq ft facility. You can count on Speedware to treat your pride and joy just as if it was the first of its kind.
Speedware Motorsports is very proud to have been chosen for this ground breaking project with special consideration going out to Dan Reiss, Project Manager and Jamie Clendenen, Fabricator/Engineer and, of course, the owner of this amazing piece of machinery, Richard Tait.
