Nice to see you here Kem!
The car sounds a lot throatier and angrier than stock, sweet mod!
How does it sound low down at around 1500rpm? It makes such a nice sound going on 3rd or 4th gear at 30km/h and gunning it, mmm. Is it even better with the Mag?

Kem, I couldn't hear it (it wouldn't open in Safari), but how would you compare it to Milltek?
I definitely want to get an exhaust for my RS4, but I haven't settled on one yet. A few questions for you:
1) Is it resonated and/or valved?
2) Does it claim any HP gains?
3) Can I reuse the stock tips?
Thanks and it looks great!!!

Chris, Since your using safari, I'm guessing your on a mac. It should most definitely play on any mac since they come with quicktime installed. Maybe it was a connection error? I would just make sure you have a newer install of quicktime.
It is non-valved and non-resonated. It's the least expensive exhaust on the market for the RS4, but it is well built with solid 2.5" pipe construction, and its the only system to use a true x-pipe design. Fitament was excellent too.
I've only heard milltek resonated before and it was nice but too quiet for me. I've read the milltek non-res sounds more metallic than the magnaflow.
I've heard the GMG system once, and that sounded excellent and the tips were super aggressive which is nice. It looks to be a quality system and it was going to be the system I was going to get. But in the end I wanted something that sounded great and was non-resonated. And thats what I got. I can't seem to stop at a light without someone complimenting me on the sound.
Your stuck with the quad tips on the magnaflow, if you want ovals you'd have to figure out a custom way to do it. I think putting the stock tips on this system would be impossible due to their totally different layouts.
I felt a pretty good bump in power, and most other owners have reported noticing good gains.
It can drone from 2000-2500rpm, but you should never be crusing at that low an RPM so its not big deal. If your just roll around at 3K rpm the system is very quiet and civil and a phone call with the windows down would be fine. But open up the taps and heads will turn, it's a truely amazing sound. When it hits the 5500rpm torque peak it makes the sweetest sound.

Admittedly the Tubi does sound fantastic, however it's super expensive and only a 1/2 system. It's not a full cat-back, you basically just chop the stock system at a certain point and have the tubi's welded on. Basically just mufflers with a bit of pipe on the end. For the price and the tubi name, I would expect a more thoroughly designed system.
So while the tubi will achieve the sound it hasn't necessarily been optimized for gains like the magnaflow or gmg system might be.

The GMG one is pretty sweet, too. I'll have to listen to the Magnaflow and GMG in person to make up my mind.
