Audi b8

I have an audi b8 (2011 to be specific). I want to purchase a K&N intake for the car. However, I heard that the intake might mess up the car because it's programmed to take in a certain amount of air. Is this true? Is there anything wrong with having an intake?

Hi,

I am no Audi expert, but the drama with oiled filters occurs in cars with MAF sensors after the intake. They will start to read wrong if the filter is 'over-oiled' and they are generally not a serviceable part. Can cause the car to run like a real pig.

As a general rule you should tune the car when you're changing its breathing pattern.

Cheers,
Nik
