RS6 Bullrun Las Vegas - Miami < 1 Week Prep
We started out this project with a few ideas in mind, some things got scratched due to time restrictions and risk of not getting the car ready in time for its departure for Friday July 1st for its journey to Las Vegas Nevada for the Bullrun 2011 rally.
Plans for this project were WG upgrades for the stock turbos to be able to run and hold more boost, next was to incorporate a external/removable fuel tank/cell for extended range in order not to lose time for fuel stops, install a trick plate for the rear license plate with remote on off for those certain situations and we upgraded the stock intercoolers with a new Wagner setup from @034Motorsport.
We wen't with a 15 gallon setup placed in the trunk and designed a gravity feed system into the factory tank with the option of being able to shut it off and turn it on with the flip of a valve using all AN fittings & braided lines and have it be completely removable from the car if needed. Also raised the car on its H&R coilover suspension about half inch up front and three quarters of an inch for the rear to compensate for the weight of the fuel cell and luggage. The front bumper had a crack, our friends at @PetrolWerks took care of that in short notice and brought it back to the shop just in time. Car is being driven to @EPL -: European Performance Labs :- in the morning for a retune and will be shipped out Friday morning!
Next year? Tial Turbos!
