Basically, they have adapted the Gen. 6 version of Quattro on 2011+ S4s. This latest version was debuted on the RS5 and replaces the mechanical center diff with a more active unit that has electro-mechanically actuated clutch packs that have the ability to send even more torque to the rear wheels. Standard bias remain at 40:60 but can go up to 15:85.
Also, starting from March 2010, all S4s are now equipped with the aluminum water pump vs the plastic unit which was prone to failure.
Only downside is that Audi USA stopped bringing Adaptive headlights on its models. In addition, we don't have power folding mirrors anymore which is ridiculous.

Got my intake in last Friday and have to say it really enhanced the driving experience of my S4! From the factory it really lacked that supercharged whine I was hoping it had but this intake has resolved that issue. Here's a pic, I'll have a video up within the next few days!
