If true then this is fantastic news. I really hope they follow throught with the light weight concept and the 5-cylinder turbo engine. I really liked the concept at Paris!

Georg Kacher made a good case for why it's not going into production in the form of the concept. Basically, it'd cost way too much for a one-off interior, composite panels (i.e. crash-testing), etc. They could "neuter" it a bit and make it closer to the RS5 it's based on, or they could build it off the next-gen A5 platform from the beginning with a shorter wheelbase, greenhouse, etc.
