Same here. Too bad it's not coming. A3s are slow sellers already, so this thing would only sell to the 5-10 of us who like it. I am still mad we never got the V10 RS6.

I would take mine with the black mirrors and front bumper (black optics package). Seems this car won't cross the Atlantic.
I have to imagine the demand for this type of sportback touring is pretty low in the US.

They can call it what they want - DSG, PDK, S-tronic, Fag-tronic - and be as technically advanced they want. But if it doesn't have a clutch pedal and a stick, it's no more interesting to operate than a chainsaw.

 

Why don't they celebrate this generation by doing some more exteriour difference compared to the normal A3s? They basically just took the TT-RS front air ducts and put it on together with some larger rims? I can get that the larger models are supposed to be more subtle. Sure, it does everything it does with power, engine, speed, efficiency etc. But come on, they have to add a manual to that thing or it'll turn into hairdresser's car..
