All indications are that the RS5 will hit US shores next year. My dealer in TN seems to be confident of that too and therefore accepted my deposit for one. They reckon the US spec will allow for few options as the car is expected to be fully loaded. We should know the specifics in the coming months. That's when I'll be able to spec my colour and options etc. For the time being I am officially on the wait list and will make do with my S5 which I'm loving.

The GT3 is NOT going! Too attached to it.

The S5 will probably go as I've run out of my garage space quota!

Congrats, donnu if a deposit is really needed. I don't see them flying off the shelf.

The only launch colors are:

Ibis White
Monza Silver
Suzuka Grey
Meteor Grey
Misano Red
Phantom Black
Sepang Blue

and of course Audi Exclusive colors but I have not seen the color palette for that.

 

^They also will probably have an option for a paint to sample from a another mfg's paint as they do with their other cars
