Latest R8 GT spyshots
Not sure if this has been posted or not, but here are the latest shots of the R8 "GT" that has been confirmed for production. It will be a lighter, track oriented, 560HP version of the R8 for 2011. From what I hear, this is pretty close to what the final body wioll look like:

My neighbor just got a v8 R8, pretty damn awesome. I love the car more and more every day. This could be awesome and so far AUDI hasn't been ignorant when they price the R8 line so that could make it even better.

Wow, I love it!

HOWEVER! Audi should decide to give the Gallardo SL something a little extra to make it worth the price tag. Mechanically, it makes no sense.

If the pricing is right (which it will be) R8 GT > Gallardo SL.
