A8 ride height system

A friend has an '05 A8 with a bad compressor for the ride height system. Dealer want 3k to replace. Anyone know a cheaper way?

Thanks.

This should do the trick. I'm sure it will be a direct bolt-in.

Are you sure it's the compressor? I have never heard of them going bad on these - but there can be electrical gremlins affecting the software (it becomes slow as hell going between modes and just looks ... strangely high).

Mine was acting funny just like that, but went away when I installed the MTM lowering module.

That's overkill!!
I was thinking more like this as he can plug it in the cigarette lighter

Where's he based? Here in The Netherlands I know a company that has loads of OEM spare parts for Audi's and including install he's always much cheaper than the dealer.

Just what you need, a board full of Jerks. Romper room at its best.
