It's registered as a dealer car. There are a ton of ways to let it pass through that window of registration. Cars that do testing are registered as dealer cars. Could be registered for the same reason.

wow love the Sepang Blue R8 we have one in Singapore just like that except is fitted with buckets seats + carbon ceramics etc.. and I also love the C6 RS6 Avant with the Audi Exclusive Interior!!

Damn! RS6 avant in the states... that car is the pefect DD, it is so classy sitting there, but then rev it up and it goes bananas.

Love the R8 but so jealous you got to see the RS6. That is by far my ultimate dream daily driver.
