The Audi R8 picture thread!

Nope, though I did have the exhaust valves disabled so it is always open and that added a bit more sweet music earlier in the rev band - just enough to keep me happy and not wanting more sound.
I have a thicker black Alcantara steering wheel with red stitching on order as well as red-trimmed black carpets with embroidered Audi and R8 logos to snap up the interior.
No performance upgrades planned because I don't even get much opportunity to use the 525 horses under my right foot as it is now, so having quicker acceleration available would only serve to frustrate me even more!

I don't know about the springs because I'm afraid of always having to be careful not to scrape the underside of the car, especially at the front when entering or exiting a parking lot that has a steep entrance. I love the slammed look but not sure it's worth the grief. As for the exhaust, I'm afraid of drone and since I'm very satisfied with the sound she already makes, won't bother with that, either. Lowering is still an option, though...gotta give it some thought.
Meanwhile, check out these awesome photos of exotics (very limited views of my car but lots of the Koenisegg and tons of Ferraris) at "Cars on Fifth" in Naples, Florida this past Saturday:
