In the Spring I usually bring the R8 up to my home to do the extremely scenic drive between Stanley and Boise, ID via Idaho City and Lowman. This small state hiway is closed during the winter, and remains virtually deserted for a couple of weeks soon after reopening from the winter closure. Thus an excellent and exciting driving road for any sportscar. It really does make for a full 1.5hr of hard epic driving fun upon one of the more exciting driving roads in the world.( I have driven most of the more notable roads in Europe.) After that the car goes back to Miller Motorsport near Salt Lake City for regular track fun. The twisting Idaho road returns to its normal use serving the summer tourists and I return to my mtn. biking.
