Post Ouch - Audi R8 Crashes Into Ferrari 599 GTB

"An exotic car crash is always a rare occurence - something most people will never see in their lifetime. An even rarer occurence is when two exotic cars crash into each other. This is so rare in fact, there have only been a handful of cases where this has ever happened. The odds are similar to winning the lottery... TWICE!

The latest multi-exotic car crash just occurred on May 25th in Fu Zhou, China. An Audi R8 slammed into the rear of a Ferrari 599 GTB after a taxi suddenly stopped to pick up a passenger. Both drivers sustained minor injuries. The R8 suffered severe damage while the Ferrari held up pretty well."

Take into consideration that 2 supercars crashed into each other in a communist country and those odds are similar to winning the lottery 457 times. In a row.

And keep in mind that with punitive import duty, these two cars probably cost more than an Enzo in the US.

plus the fact that those 2 cars were both red.
incredible...

The R8 prolly accelerated to overtake the lame cab searching a spot to drop off the passenger and then, all in a sudden, the cab stopped and the R8 slammed into the 599.
The 599 was obviously the older(599=more money) and more relaxed guy and the R8 driver was the more dynamic guy, maybe in his 20s or 30s.

that`s my personal reconstruction of that embarrassing accident

Wow, crazy odds indeed. I'm absolutely shocked that the 599 stood up to that sort of impact with such little damage compared to the R8.

There is probably one less taxi-driver in China now
