I have a hunch BMW will screw it up since they don't have a mid-engine supercar like Audi's R8. My guess is that they'll make one with the X5/X6M to which Audi can respond with the Q7 V12 TDI and blow BMW out of the water again. Audi might actually have the upper hand now.

I like it. BMW should have known better than try to counter the A4 with an M3. that was just asking to be one upped. they don't have anything that can top the R8, IMO.

My guess is that things will escalate and someone will wind up dead. With any luck, it'll be Chris Bangle...
